Battleplate is a Rare Plate armor obtainable through Crafting or the Catacombs. It is preceded by the Uncommon Chestplate of Valor and succeeded by the Rare Gore-Soaked Plate.

Strategy[]
Battleplate, like most Rare and below gear, isn't worth crafting. The defense and armor that it offers is inferior to that of Shell of Protection, and plate-wearing heroes can manage the early game with random loot drops such as Ironheart until better armor becomes available.
