Strategy[]
Demon's Skin is incredibly useful due to its enormous 2,000 bonus health, a boost which more than makes up for the lack of armor or universal magic resistance. The 90% Shadow Resistance offers the maximum possible protection from enemies like Warlock and Necromancer. On Berserker, which has a base Stun Resistance of 35%, the 50% Stun Resistance offers the maximum possible protection from the soul skill of the Ninja. While it is true that Demon's Skin does take away 50 health every 3 turns, it's not a serious problem for Berserker or Druid, both of which can restore their health back. Keep in mind that the Sharper Reflexes only applies to Archer's Quick Shot, but that can surprisingly make Archer a formidable enemy in Towers.
Demon's Skin is also used on Thief against Zaluss The Demolisher, where the greater Attack value compared to Vest of the Flayer allows Thief to deal more damage overall. This comes at a greater risk of Cheap Shot being dodged and ruining the run.
