Strategy[]
Fists of Fury is an interesting weapon. While its 35% speed boost and respectable Attack stat would appear to make Shaman a more superior damage dealer, its inability to deal crit damage and additional enemy dodge seems counterproductive. It is worth noting that it makes Shaman's already fast attacks even faster (potentially stack Spirit Rage), and Earthen Strike cannot be dodged as well, but even so he would still apply far less damage than if he used Jade Fist of Kung Huo or even Gladiator's Talons. In addition, this weapon is better used on Monk for him to stack Zen State and Ki Shout more often. The extra enemy dodge is actually a buff for Monk because Ki Shout stacks and is only used when one of his hits connect with an enemy; therefore, if he misses, his next attack will be even more powerful. While the weapon may not be an exceptional upgrade over previous options, it can be used effectively with proper setup and play.
