Strategy Edit

Mithral Mail's faster cooldown bonus and magic resistances, akin to the properties of Chainskin, make for a good early game equipment piece. It's not necessary to craft it, as long as you can find one for free through one of the sources listed above. Chainskin does outclass Mithral Mail eventually, though you can keep it as a placeholder until then.

Some players have actually used Mithral Mail to great effect against stages 6 through 9 of Zaluss The Demolisher. If using Warmaster as the frontline hero, Zaluss will use Eat Your Soul to damage Warmaster to below 30% health and activate the damage bonus for Wrathful Strike, but earlier stages of Zaluss may not deal enough damage. The lower stats and health compared to Chainskin allows Warmaster to more consistently reach the 30% sweet spot. The exact levels and enchantments to use are tricky to find and may require some experimentation, but will give a higher damage payoff overall.

Trivia Edit

  • The Trick or Treat campaign has extremely high-leveled Rare equipment available as rewards, including a level 90 Mithral Mail.
